my snail friend appeared out of nowhere in our brooklyn apartment and prior to this, i could not foresee myself in adulthood building an enclosure to obsessively observe their movements, and then study their lifecycle, behavior, and perculiarities to the point of obsession.

everything about being a caregiver for such a miniature creature has brought me more amusement and wonder than so many other important endeavors in my recent years!! snails are magical and inspiring because even on their own they can regenerate themselves over and over and even after this death, my little friend is boundless and everlasting through their offspring in the garden and ofc their virtual body which has been uploaded into infinity
